Gertrude “Gert” Hildebrand (nee Giesbrecht), age 89 years, of Altona, MB passed away peacefully on Friday, August 21 at Eastview Place, Altona.
She is survived by her children Carla (Barry) Friesen, Bobbi (Tom) Pentek, and Gaylan (Elaine) Hildebrand, as well as 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 2 sisters, and 1 brother. She was predeceased by her husband Peter Hildebrand, granddaughter Amy Beth Hildebrand, and 1 sister.
Family and friends celebrated Gert’s life privately on Friday, August 28, 2026.
Donations in memory of Gert may be made to Altona and District Palliative Care.
