Today, Wednesday, February 17th is the beginning of Lent. Like Advent is the season of preparation for Christmas, Lent is a time that helps us prepare for the celebration of the new life of Easter. The season coincides with the time of year, when days are slowly becoming longer and the first hints of growth begin.
