What are some of the projects going on at Seeds Church? And how can you get involved and show your
- Family Ministries
The upstairs has been transformed for a new season of Family Connections. Each space has been purposefully designed to engage children in various ways during Sunday mornings. Most of the furnishings are complete, however there is still a need for some funding to update the last of the older furniture and lighting.
- Mercy Fund
10% of every dollar given is set aside to be available to respond quickly to needs outside of ourselves. We call this the Mercy Fund. Sometimes families find themselves in crisis because of a health diagnosis or are wanting help to navigate mental health struggles or medications that are just too expensive for what they can manage. At times it is a $50 gift card to buy diapers and formula for someone that has just left a partner and needs a little help to get through the month. Any money given is not only supporting the things within Seeds that we are passionate about, but also the ability to respond quickly to needs that arise in the wider community.
- The Community Exchange
TCE is a hub for activities and resources intended to serve the whole community. Many organizations are using the space on a weekly basis. Currently the vision and excitement are there to grow TCE, but funding is also needed to support staff and development of the space at 116 Main Street.
