MCC Manitoba hosts a support group for women who have experienced sexual abuse, 7-9 pm on Tuesdays, May 1 to June 5, 2018. The support group will offer women opportunity to share, find support and healing in a caring faith-based environment. Free of cost with child care provided. In Focus – In 1986 Lesreste Sidort began education work with MCC in the Artibonite valley in Haiti. It was an unstable time with MCC’s work labeled a political threat by the Haitian military leadership and Lesreste was arrested a few years later.
