A volunteer quilting group formed at MCC’s Winnipeg Material Resources Centre in the early 1990s after receiving a request from a young woman who asked the women to replicate an old quilt her grandmother had made.
Since then, local quilters have raised thousands of dollars in support of MCC’s tangible relief efforts around the world!
Check out the launch of pieceittogether.ca on May 29 to explore the current collection produced by local quilt volunteers for MCC.
