Sustainable Seeds & Boomerang Bags Altona
Sustainable Seeds & Boomerang Bags Altona are teaming up and would like to invite the Seeds community & friends to help with the grass roots start up of the first wave of boomerang bags for our community. To help launch this initiative we are hosting a Cutting & Ironing Bee on Tues, April 25, 7-9 pm @ the eXchange.
It will be a great time of chatting, drinking coffee/tea, and preparing the materials that will one day be a fleet of reusable bags for Altona & surrounding communities. This event is open to all ages and all skills. There is a job for everyone even if you just want to come and chat. All are welcome!
Here are some helpful things to bring if you are planning to come:
1. Used Fabric to donate (Old sheets, curtains, shower curtains, thread,  scraps fabric) Feel free to go to MCC and pick up some fabric to donate if you don’t have anything in your home.
2. Fabric scissors
3. Iron & ironing board
Don’t have any of these items? Come anyway as there is lots for you to help with.
