CMU – Saturday, Mar. 4 @ 7 pm, in Marpeck Commons, CMU will host “A Conversation with an Iranian Shia Cleric”. Amidst often challenging media stories about the Iranian Republic, you’re invited to this rare opportunity to engage Dr. Mohammad Ali Shomali, who brings a life-long commitment to dialogue with Christians, including Mennonites. An offering will be held to assist 8 Iranian students to study at the Canadian School of Peacebuilding June 12–23, 2017 and to attend Dialogue 7 between Shia Muslims clerics and Mennonite Christians theologians.
