The Year of Living Biblically – Daily Scripture for Today is John 13:1-17.

This Summer we invite you to dive into the Gospel of John. To help give context, why not spend some time researching who the apostle John was, how he lived his life and how and where he died? Since there won't be worship services every Sunday during the summer months, daily scriptures will be provided 7 days a week.

There are many ways to engage with scripture…here are 2 of them!

1. Use the Divine Reading (Lectio Divina) method of Praying the Scriptures. Listen while you read it slowly. Meditate on what you hear. Speak to God your prayer, thoughts, questions. Rest in God's presence, let His presence wash over you as you sit in quiet.

2. SOAPScripture (read it) Observe (ask questions, research, etc) Apply (What does say to me in the present?) Pray (let God know what you're thinking or questioning)
