All are invited and encouraged to attend a vigil on the evening of December 7th, 2023 to commemorate the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women. This event is taking place at the Makoons Centre at Roseau River Anishinaabe First Nation (Ginew). The event begins at 6:00pm. Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
This event has been co-organised by Ginew Wellness Centre, Genesis House, Agape House, and Southern Chiefs.
