The ‘Support Ukraine Fundraising Concert’ in aid of MCC’s Ukraine Emergency Response last week at The eXchange raised at least $15,000 from the concert, and a total of $18,000 once the matching from Friesens Corporation and Ens Quality Seed are included. However, we are hoping that number will climb ever higher as we are still accepting donations made directly though our MCC directory: https://donate.mcccanada.ca/registry/ukraine-support-concert-altona
The evening was also important to the local Ukrainian community. Many said it special for them to see such support from our local community, artists, performers, and businesses.
