Keynote speakers chosen for Youth Gathering 2022
Christine Kampen Robinson and Christy Anderson will speak at Amplify!, Mennonite Church Canada’s nationwide youth gathering at Camp Valaqua, from July 31 to August 4, 2022. Robinson is director of practicum at Canadian Mennonite University and Anderson is completing her PhD in Indigenous Studies at the University of Saskatchewan. INDIGENOUS-SETTLER RELATIONS
ISR signs ecumenical letter of solidarity with Wet’suwet’en Indigenous-Settler Relations has joined representatives of an ecumenical community to register solidarity with the Wet’suwet’en peoples who are defending their lands in opposition to the Coastal GasLink Pipeline. The Letter of Solidarity urges the federal government to halt this project and the associated erosion of trust with Indigenous Nations. Read the letter here
