Intensive rainfall over the weekend has closed all major highways leading into and out of Vancouver and Fraser Valley, flooding in lower areas has meant evacuations for many people, other people have been stranded away from home because of impassable roads. MCBC has one church (Yarrow) in an evacuated area. Some other churches are dealing with flooding in basements and leaking roofs. From Ken Dueck, MCBC
