Bill C-15 reaches Royal Assent! Bill C-15, An Act regarding the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous People, received Royal Assent on June 21, 2021, National Indigenous Peoples Day. This is a victory to celebrate! Many thanks to everyone who showed their support through written e-mails and letters the Senate. Our work on the path towards reconciliation continues.
