Laura Funk Ordination
Together with Hope Mennonite Church, MCM is celebrating the Ordination of Laura Funk for the ministry of Spiritual Direction. The service is being planned for Sunday, June 27. Laura has been working for MCM since May 1 as the “Spiritual Director in Residence”. She is excited about the ways that Spiritual Direction can help church leaders and congregations along their spiritual journey of faithfulness. We rejoice together with Laura and Hope Mennonite in the first ordination for Spiritual Direction within MCM.
Morden Mennonite welcomes Justin Majeau
Morden Mennonite Church welcomes Justin Majeau as a full-time permanent Pastor. Justin and his family reside in Morden and have been worshipping with the Morden congregation for the past 2 years. Justin begins his position on July 1. Welcome Justin to pastoral ministry within MCM.
Mennonite Church Canada invites applications for a Nationwide Youth Gathering Event Coordinator. The Nationwide Youth Gathering will take place July 31- Aug 4, 2022, at Camp Valaqua near Calgary, Alta. This position is a one-year term/contract beginning August 16 2021 at .4 FTE.
