Dean & Wendy, Colton, Miranda Klippenstein who are mourning the loss of Dean’s brother Corey. The following is a tribute written by Wendy.

Corey Wade Klippenstein – We are so incredibly saddened by the loss of our son, brother, uncle and friend. Corey unexpectedly passed away on March 31, 2021 at age 52 from complications due to an illness. Corey was survived by his mom Hilda, his brother Dean and sister-in-law Wendy, brother Jann and sister-in -law Tina and youngest brother Kyle and partner Kathy his nephews and nieces, Curtis, Randy, D’arci, Shelby, Colton, Miranda, their children and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his dad Walter Klippenstein. Corey loved adventure. He loved to travel and meet people wherever he went. People he met would say he would drop everything to lend a hand. He was always in search of the next adventure. If he decided he wanted to go to Australia and learn to surf, he got on a plane and went. If he decided he wanted to see the east coast, he got in his car, drove there and lived in his car with his dog till he got his fill. Corey loved swimming in the ocean in Mexico with his dad. Corey will also be remembered by all the vehicles he painted. He was a perfectionist. He would spend hours, days or weeks painting a car, helicopter, motorcycle or an indy race car to perfection. He won many awards for his paint jobs. He even had the opportunity to design a beautiful bottle for Tavi Tequila. Corey loved his dogs Medo and Beba. He spent hrs hiking the mountains with his dogs. Corey loved photography. Instagram is filled with his amazing landscape photos from many countries he travelled to. He would drive all night to find the perfect location to get the most beautiful shots of the ocean, lake, mountain or night sky. Corey was patient, loving and a true friend to many. He always had a fantastic story to share. He loved to share his life over a plate of sushi or a well cooked meal and a glass of the finest beverage. Corey was a gift giver. He loved to find the perfect gift for the people he loved. If he couldn’t buy the perfect gift he would design and build it. Many homes have a touch of Corey in them. He will always be remembered as a compassionate, creative, spontaneous and an adventurous free spiritCorey left this world too early and we will always cherish our memories of him. Till we meet again.
