An Advent Reflection
Along with my usual Advent candles, cookies and C.Ds, this year has also held another meaningful ‘c’. As part of the MCM Youth Ministers Fellowship, I have participated in Zoom Room Examen Prayer Circles. I discovered this space to be a most welcomed addition to my 2020. Together we have sat with questions, which included; if Jesus were to write you a Christmas Card, what might it say? If Jesus were to put a gift under your tree, what would you like it to be? We found that sitting with these questions opened us to the Spirit and each other, in beautiful ways. I invite you to sit with these questions as we move from Advent to Christmas, and may the Spirit gift you with a needed Word.
