Mennonite Church Manitoba Update

MC Canada Worships – Sunday July 12 – Niagara United Mennonite Church will share their service with our nationwide community of faith this coming Sunday, July 12. Join Daniel Janzen from Niagara United Mennonite Church will reflect on Exodus 3:1-6: I am here. How many times did Moses walk by the burning bush before he noticed it? How long was God trying to get Moses’ attention? It is often in the wilderness where God meets people. Available at https://www.mennonitchurch.ca/worshipservices and our YouTube channel.

Frohe Botschaft ends after 64 years on the radio – June 31, 2020 marked the end of the beloved program Frohe Botschaft. For the last 64 years Mennonite Church Manitoba has strived to produce a radio show that honors God, that inspires the listeners, that teaches biblical truth, and that lifts the hearts of Christians in this province and beyond. Although the time has come to end this ministry, we are grateful for all those who have participated in its production (recently Dorothea Rempel Kampen who was producing it faithfully to the end). We are grateful for all those who have contributed in donations and prayers. But most of all we are grateful to God who gives life and sustains us.

See Canadian Mennonite’s article on the history of radio in MCM here.
