On today’s episode we delve into an emerging church movement known as “forest church”. Our Conversation partner is Wendy Janzen who along with being a pastor at St. Jacobs Mennonite Church in St. Jacobs, Ontario, leads the Burning Bush Forest Church a monthly ecumenical church community that meets in nature on a monthly basis. Wendy also is an integral part of the North American wide Wild Church Network, a group of like-minded church communities.
Wendy lives in the Kitchener-Waterloo region with her husband Chip Bender and their 2 children, and also serves as a Spiritual Director.
Join host Connie Heppner Mueller and Ted Enns-Dyck as they dive into this unique and innovative global church movement that seeks to re-connect people, “with an untamed God in our wild homes.” (From the Wild Church Network website).
