Join us for Poolside worship & Baptism service at the Altona Aquatic Centre on Sunday, June 9 @ 10:30 am. Free Seeds swimming 11am-12noon followed by a BBQ Potluck lunch in the Altona Park Picnic shelter #2. Meat & buns provided…please bring a salad to share plus your own beverages, plates & cutlery and lawn chair/picnic blanket. After lunch, lawn games will be available or you might want to participate in an Ultimate Frisbee game or beach volleyball. Free Watermelon & fresh rollkuchen served at 3 pm.

There are many ways to engage with scripture…here are 2 of them!
1. Use the Divine Reading (Lectio Divina) method of Praying the Scriptures. Listen while you read it slowly. Meditate on what you hear. Speak to God your prayer, thoughts, questions. Rest in God’s presence, let His presence wash over you as you sit in quiet.
2. SOAP – Scripture (read it) Observe (ask questions, research, etc) Apply (What does say to me in the present?) Pray (let God know what you’re thinking or questioning)
