Infuse 2018. Come for a time of learning, inspiring, and connecting. We will focus on the theme of Vulnerability in Mission, with Keynote address by Betty Pries. Nov 3, 8:30am-4:30pm, 500 Shaftesbury Blvd (CMU). $65 for the day includes a locally catered lunch and all refreshments. We encourage everyone to come, especially those in a leadership role in the church (council, board, deacon, etc.). Voices Together Hymn Sing. Join Henry Engbrecht, Paul Dueck and the Voices Together Ensemble in singing potential new songs for our new hymnal: Voices Together. Of course, we’ll sing a few old favourites too. Sat, Nov 17, 7 pm, Morden Mennonite Church, and Sun Nov 18, 7 pm, Fort Garry Mennonite Fellowship, Wpg. Freewill offering for the Voices Together project will be received.

On Friday Nov 2 at 8pm First Mennonite Church offers A Welcome Sound, a benefit event supporting refugee sponsorship, LGBTQ affirming ministry, and abuse survivor advocacy. The lineup includes Whizbang Shufflers, Jesse Krause, Madeline Hildebrand, and Clare Schellenberg and Charlie Ens. Proceeds in support of First Mennonite Church refugee sponsorship, Jamie and Kim Arpin-Ricci (http://www.jamiearpinricci.com/about/) and Into Account (https://intoaccount.org/). Tax receipts can be issued for all donations.
