Song of Songs 1
Before I started reading this chapter, I prayed “Lord, let me read today through the lens of your choosing.”
So I read Song of Songs 1 with a sense that I am deeply and completely loved by God. That I am sought after, beautiful in his eyes and worthy of his love and attention.
My prayer is for humility to receive these words and believe them. To sit with them and let them soak into my heart. To really know that they are true.
What if we asked Jesus how he would invite us to read Song of Songs 1 today?
